Malama Wao Akua 'o Maui Hikina
Juried Art Exhibit 2008

A celebration of Maui's native wildlife

For this year's native species art show, 159 pieces from local Maui artists were entered and 69 pieces were selected by juror Inger Tully. EMWP is grateful to the community for their support of this project - the artists who hiked and did research to create an original piece, the folks at Viewpoints Gallery who have given generously their time and expertise, the teachers and students who studied the native flora and fauna, the businesses and organizations who donated printing and prizes and of course, mahalo to everyone who came to see the show. We hope you enjoy the artwork!
